Together we can work for a better future of orphans

Every Child deserves to receive and give love and, in fact, must do so to healthily develop. One volunteer and donation at a time, we can help one child at a time.

VK TSHIMS FOUNDATION is a charitable organization that provides support and stability for teens who have aged out of the orphanage system. At the young age of 16 with no family support, these vulnerable teens face a life of potential crime, drugs, alcohol, and prostitution.

Many end up in prison or sold by sex traffickers or die too young. Feelings of abandonment rejection and despair is all that they know!

VK TSHIMS FOUNDATION Charity offers these abandoned teens another way out through our Transition Home Program. Our homes are small in size and give these young people a chance to live in a real home and be part of a real family. House parents shower them with love, treat them with patience and understanding while teaching essential life skills. Many feel loved for the very first time!

The VK TSHIMS FOUNDATION Charity introduces them to Christ and teaches them that He accepts them, loves them, and will never abandon them!

Thank You for supporting our fundraising donation.

A cry of orphans

A cry of an orphan. Sometimes I wonder whether I am really who I am With no parents to love me for who I am Alone in this world full of hatred. Well that’s my fate that will never be ended Facing this world alone, is very hard Without someone to hold your hand To guide you through success and failures Who’s going to hold my hand? There’s no one when I wake up in the morning Or when I go to sleep. No one to sing me a lullaby As I drift to sleep, no one to help me with my chores, no mother or father to call my own, no one to comfort me when I cry I’m all alone until I die. Why don’t people care for me? Is it who I am? Why doesn’t someone love me? Just for what am, where are my parents I wonder? Why have they left me here to wither? Why aren’t they coming to see me I wonder? Maybe they’ve left me here forever. All I want is someone to love me. Someone to guide me and to help me. Am I asking too much? Or it just that no one wants me

Faith is at the heart of everything we do

Our Christian faith leads us to believe every person is created in God’s image and deserves life in all its fullness. In our work, we see children being kept from reaching their full potential. We see injustice, inequality, corruption and disasters affect the lives and futures of children in every context. We show our experience of the unconditional love of Jesus Christ in our work. We are called to be witnesses and serve as a reflection of God’s unconditional love.

Compelled by our beliefs and experiences, we respond

Our calling as a Christian humanitarian organisation, to serve the most vulnerable children, brings our staff into some of the most difficult political and physical environments. It is in these places that we seek to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ as He works through our lives, deeds, words and signs. We believe that through hope, restoration and renewal is possible even in the most difficult places, which is why we work through relief, development and advocacy approaches in contexts where the most vulnerable children struggle to survive.

We are part of a movement

Faith plays a vital role in our world. More than 85% of the world is religious and faith leaders are the most trusted in many places. We work with people of all faiths and none, because we believe God can work through all people to achieve His purposes. We cannot achieve our mission on our own; we seek to collaborate with a wide spectrum of partners, supporters and others to transform the lives of children, families and communities.

Shaped by our faith and our experience of the world, we see that most people share common values of compassion, love and mercy and are willing to partner in changing children’s lives. So, we ignite and join movements for child well-being, mobilizing all people including donors and supporters, Christians and the Church, as well as other faith leaders, secular institutions and government actors.
